Heather walked the aisle for practice, her dad smiling at her with a mix of pride and disbelief. Joshua stood at the front, watching her like there was no one else on the planet.

The day began under a sky completely free of clouds, the sun already fierce, bright, hot, relentless. Predator Ridge Resort shimmered in the heat, the hills glowing soft gold.
Heather walked toward Joshua for their first look, and every step felt like it carried years of anticipation.
He stood facing away, shoulders tense, breathing slowly, as if preparing his heart for impact.
When Heather gently tapped his shoulder, Joshua turned, and that was it. His breath caught. His eyes softened. His forehead dropped into his hand as emotion washed over him, raw and unstoppable. Heather smiled, brushing back a strand of hair that the warm Okanagan breeze tried to claim. They held each other, breathing in this first moment of the rest of their lives.

Guests fanned themselves in the heat. The sky held not even the hint of a cloud, only endless blue.
Heather & Joshua’s vows were not just words; they were promises rooted in something deep, steady, and unshakable. When they were pronounced husband and wife, cheers echoed across the vineyard. The sun hit them just right, igniting them in gold.
Cocktails, Emotion, and a Song With Meaning

During cocktails, laughter floated through the air and glasses clinked in celebration.
And then, the Father–Daughter Dance began.
