Before their big day, we had the joy of photographing Sydney and Matt’s engagement session at Government House in Edmonton. It was a gorgeous setting for them to celebrate this exciting chapter, with its timeless architecture and beautiful gardens providing the perfect backdrop. Getting Ready
We joined Sydney toward the end of her morning preparations, just in time to capture her stepping into her dress. At one point, a group of guests lifted Matt high into the air and carried him around the dance floor on their shoulders. The room erupted in laughter and cheers, and it was clear this would be a memory talked about for years to come. Not long after, the fun continued as Sydney’s dad was also hoisted up and paraded across the floor. These spontaneous, joy-filled moments are what make weddings so memorable, and Sydney and Matt’s night was overflowing with them.
A Sweet Surprise for Dessert
As if the night could not get any better, Sydney and Matt treated their guests to Bailey’s Vintage Ice Cream for dessert.
