The morning was calm. Pyramid Lake reflected the mountains perfectly, like the world was holding its breath for something extraordinary. Guests crossed the bridge to Pyramid Island slowly and quietly. The water was quiet. The air felt soft. The entire scene felt like it was made for them.
Then Shane appeared.
When Miggy saw her walking across the bridge toward him, emotion washed over him completely. His eyes filled. His breath caught. This was not just excitement. It was the realization that this was the moment he had waited his whole life for. Shane’s smile held the same emotion. She walked with tears in her eyes, yet full of joy, knowing that every step brought her closer to forever.

At the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, they climbed into a canoe and pushed off from shore. The moment was breathtaking. Just the two of them, newly married, floating on calm water with the mountains rising around them. They held hands and laughed as the canoe glided across the lake. Peaceful. Simple. Perfect.
That evening their reception at the Forest Park Hotel was filled with heartfelt speeches, warm embraces, and emotional toasts. Guests shared memories and stories about their love. The room glowed with happiness.
Their first dance was slow and full of meaning. Shane held Miggy close, and she curled into him as though there was nowhere else in the world she would rather be. It was tender. It was emotional. And it reflected their entire day.
