Bee & Andrew's Stunning Delta Hotels Edmonton Centre Suites Wedding in Edmonton, Alberta
Bee and Andrew’s July wedding brought together some of Edmonton’s most recognizable locations, from the historic St. Joseph’s Basilica to the glass pyramids of Muttart Conservatory. Their day began and ended at Delta Hotels Edmonton Centre Suites, where Bee got ready in the morning before returning with Andrew for their downtown wedding reception.
We had the pleasure of capturing their wedding photography and videography, documenting everything from the morning preparations to their evening celebration. But our time with Bee and Andrew actually started nine months earlier, during their engagement session in Victoria, British Columbia.
Wedding mornings are often filled with anticipation, last-minute preparations and moments that deserve to be remembered just as much as the ceremony itself.
Bee spent her morning getting ready at Delta Hotels Edmonton Centre Suites in downtown Edmonton. Meanwhile, Andrew prepared for the day at their apartment.
Photographing and filming both sides of the preparations allowed us to document their wedding morning from two perspectives before everyone came together for the ceremony.
With its central downtown location, Delta Hotels Edmonton Centre Suites also made a convenient starting and ending point for their wedding day.
Following the morning preparations, we made our way to St. Joseph’s Basilica for Bee and Andrew’s wedding ceremony.
Known for its impressive architecture, stained glass windows and traditional interior, St. Joseph’s Basilica is one of Edmonton’s most recognizable ceremony locations.
After the ceremony, we remained at the Basilica for family formal photographs. This allowed us to capture their family portraits before heading out with the wedding party for the afternoon.
Our next stop was the Muttart Conservatory, one of Edmonton’s most distinctive locations for wedding photography.
The Conservatory’s glass pyramids and surrounding grounds provided a modern contrast to the traditional architecture of St. Joseph’s Basilica.
For Bee and Andrew, it was an opportunity to create wedding party portraits in a different setting while incorporating another recognizable Edmonton landmark into their wedding gallery.
Having multiple portrait locations throughout the day also gave their wedding photography and videography a variety of backgrounds, architectural details and visual styles.
Not every wedding portrait needs to happen in a garden, park or traditional wedding venue.
During Bee and Andrew’s afternoon portraits, we also made a stop at Niche Climbing.
It was a departure from the more familiar Edmonton wedding photography locations and added another distinctive setting to their collection of wedding photographs and film footage.
Between the Basilica, Muttart Conservatory and Niche Climbing, their wedding portraits featured a mix of traditional architecture, modern design and something a little unexpected.
After an afternoon of wedding party portraits around Edmonton, we returned downtown for Bee and Andrew’s wedding reception at Delta Hotels Edmonton Centre Suites.
The hotel had already been part of their wedding story that morning, making it fitting that everyone would come together there again for the evening celebration.
With their ceremony at St. Joseph’s Basilica and portraits at Muttart Conservatory and Niche Climbing complete, the reception marked the final chapter of their wedding day.
For us, photographing and filming a wedding from the morning preparations through to the reception means preserving more than a collection of individual moments. It allows us to document how the entire day unfolded, from one location to the next.
Our time with Bee and Andrew didn’t begin on their wedding day.
In October 2025, we met up with them in Victoria, British Columbia, for their engagement photography session. Nine months later, we were reunited in Edmonton to photograph and film their wedding.
One of the things we enjoy most about photographing engagement sessions before a wedding is having that opportunity to work together ahead of the big day.
From their engagement photographs on Vancouver Island to their downtown Edmonton wedding, it was wonderful to document both milestones.
Bee and Andrew, thank you for inviting us to be part of your engagement and wedding. We loved having the opportunity to capture both chapters of your story!
