Some wedding days stay with you long after they are over. Jessi and Janine’s was one of those days. It was deeply emotional, filled with meaning, and grounded in a kind of love that felt steady and unshakable. We had the honour of filming their wedding and preserving every moment as it unfolded on September 27, 2025 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The day began with morning preparations at Staybridge Suites Saskatoon, where anticipation slowly built with every passing moment. There was a calm energy in the room, but underneath it, you could feel the weight of what the day meant. Every detail, every glance, and every quiet pause carried emotion.
Their first look took place just outside of Louis’ Courtyard, and it was one of those moments that felt almost suspended in time. As they saw each other for the first time, everything else seemed to fall away. The emotion was immediate and real, written across their faces in a way that did not need words. It was not just about how they looked at each other, but how they felt in that moment.
Their ceremony, held at Louis’ Courtyard at the University of Saskatchewan, carried that same depth from beginning to end. It was not just a union, it was a reflection of everything they have built together. Every part of the ceremony felt intentional and full of meaning, from the vows they shared to the way their story was woven into each moment.
As the day moved into the evening, the celebration continued at Louis’ Pub on campus. The atmosphere shifted into something vibrant and full of life, while still holding onto the emotion of the day. Speeches were heartfelt and powerful, bringing both laughter and tears. There was a sense of connection in the room that never faded, from the first toast to the final moments on the dance floor.
Jessi and Janine’s wedding was more than a beautiful event. It was an experience that stayed with everyone who was part of it. The depth of their connection, the emotion woven into every part of the day, and the sense of togetherness made it unforgettable.
This University of Saskatchewan wedding was a powerful reminder of what a wedding day can be when it is rooted in something real. It was emotional, honest, and filled with a kind of love that speaks for itself.
