WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY FAQ'S

What is a cinematic highlight film?

A cinematic highlight film is a professionally edited wedding film that captures the emotions, moments, and story of your wedding day. Using footage from throughout the day, along with carefully selected music and audio from your vows or speeches, we create a film designed to be both entertaining and meaningful.

A documentary ceremony film is a full-length recording of your wedding ceremony from start to finish. Unlike a highlight film, nothing is condensed or shortened. You’ll be able to relive every reading, vow, ring exchange, and special moment exactly as it happened.

Yes. Depending on the package selected, vows, speeches, and formal dances may be included as separate documentary-style films. These films allow you to revisit the complete moments that often become family keepsakes for years to come.

Your wedding films are edited by the Pulse Productions team. We do not outsource editing overseas, ensuring your memories receive the same care and attention from the people who captured them.

All films are delivered digitally in universal MP4 format through an online download link. This allows you to easily watch your films on computers, tablets, smart TVs, and mobile devices.

Yes. Professional audio is one of the most important parts of wedding videography. We use dedicated audio recorders and multiple backup recording methods whenever possible to capture clear audio from ceremonies, vows, speeches, and other important moments.

Yes. Additional videography coverage can be added to any package if you need more time than your selected package includes.

No. We do not charge travel or accommodation fees for weddings throughout British Columbia, Alberta, or Saskatchewan.

What happens if it rains?

Weather is simply part of the story. We are experienced in filming weddings in a variety of conditions and always work with couples to find creative solutions when the weather becomes a factor. Ultimately, it is up to the couple to secure a Plan B “rained out” location. Rain rarely prevents us from creating beautiful films.

Yes. We film weddings throughout British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan, and regularly travel to venues across all three provinces.

Our typical wedding film delivery timeline is 8-14 weeks during peak season. This allows us to carefully review, organize, edit, colour grade, and deliver your wedding films. During the summer peak months, it can take up to 14 weeks.

Your date is secured once your contract has been signed and your booking retainer has been received.

Yes. Flexible payment plans are available for all wedding videography packages.

Yes. Pulse Productions Inc. carries liability insurance and can provide proof of coverage if required by your venue. Many wedding venues require vendors to carry insurance, and we’re happy to provide documentation when needed.

Yes. We bring professional backup cameras, lenses, memory cards, batteries, audio equipment, and lighting equipment whenever possible. Redundancy is an important part of protecting your wedding memories.
